Why PeoplePatch

WHY DO I NEED PEOPLEPATCH?
It is of vital importance, that people carry useful identifcation at all times. This includes not only who to call in an emergency, but any medical condition or allergy one might have which would be beneficial for a medical team to know, in an emergency situation.

BUT I CARRY MY WALLET AND DRIVERS LICENSE?
Your drivers license does not indicate medical conditions which would be important to know in an emergency. In addition, it does not reflect where you are staying or living should you be on vacation or travelling, or, who to call, i.e., physician, relative, etc.

CAN CHILDREN WEAR PEOPLEPATCH? OR THE ELDERLY?
98% of children do not carry any type of identification. Worn discreetly inside a jacket or sweater, the adults responsible for their care can be comforted that children will not be lost on school field trips or be separated from a group. This is true, also, for the elderly, who may get confused and unable to adequately communicate in times of an emergency. Immediately knowing who to call and how to treat an individual can be life saving.

HOW BIG IS PEOPLEPATCH?
The patch is approximately 3.5" by 2".

WHAT IF I FORGET TO REMOVE IT FROM MY CLOTHES?
Although PeoplePatch can get wet, the action of a washing machine and dryer will diminish the usable life of the patch. However, it will not damage your clothes. For optimal use, PeoplePatch should be removed after each wearing and replaced on the original carrier card until the next use, when it is placed on another piece of clothing. However, PeoplePatch can remain on a piece of clothing until the garment is cleaned or washed, e.g., coat, sweater.

DO I NEED A SPECIAL PEN TO WRITE ON THE PATCH?
No. A standard ballpoint or permanent marker works best.
